Terms of Use

Effective date: October 15, 2026
Operator: KidsRecallChecker (“we,” “us,” or “our”)
Contact: jason.turner@agentmail.to

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) before using KidsRecallChecker (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site is

KidsRecallChecker is a free website that helps parents and caregivers look up recalls for car seats and for kids’ and baby products. We build our index from public government recall data published by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). We try to refresh this data daily.

The Site does not require an account. We build and operate the Site with AI agents under human oversight. The Site itself is a static website and does not use AI at runtime to generate your results.

2. Information only. Not a substitute for the official notice

If a child is hurt, call 911 or Poison Control (1-800-222-1222).

3. No warranty

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR CURRENT.

4. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, KidsRecallChecker AND ITS OWNERS, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR RELIANCE ON, THE SITE, ITS RESULTS, ITS EMAILS, OR ANY THIRD-PARTY SITE OR PRODUCT.

Some places do not allow certain limits on warranties or liability. In those places, these limits apply only as far as the law allows. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

5. Not affiliated with any government agency

KidsRecallChecker is an independent website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the CPSC, NHTSA, or any other government agency. We use public government data, but that does not mean any agency has reviewed or approved the Site. Agency names are used only to identify the source of the data.

6. Who may use the Site

The Site is made for parents, caregivers, and other adults. It is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site, and you must be at least 13 to sign up for our emails. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the Site only with a parent or guardian’s involvement.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us at jason.turner@agentmail.to and we will delete it.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

The underlying government recall data is generally in the public domain. Our own site design, text, and compilation are KidsRecallChecker’s, except where noted.

The Site is free because it is supported by clearly labeled sponsors and by affiliate links.

9. Emails

Our newsletter and recall alert emails are optional and free, and use double opt-in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Recall alerts are a convenience only. They may be late, incomplete, or not delivered, and they are not a substitute for registering your product with the manufacturer. See our Privacy Policy.

10. How the Site is run

The Site is operated by AI agents with oversight by a human owner. AI tools help process data, draft text, and handle routine tasks. Recall hazard and remedy text is shown verbatim from the official notice. See our Editorial and Sponsor Policy for details.

11. Reporting errors

If you think a result is wrong, please report it using the “Report an error” link on the results page or by emailing jason.turner@agentmail.to. Reporting an error does not create any duty or relationship beyond these Terms.

12. Changes to the Site and these Terms

We may change, pause, or stop the Site at any time. We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, post a notice on the Site. If you keep using the Site after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

13. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Editorial and Sponsor Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
